Our eyes should always be on our Lord and Savior–not looking to the right or to the left–but when life throws us a curve ball we often become distracted and our eyes begin to wander. When our eyes are bouncing all about, rather than beginning trained on Jesus we begin to sink, therefore we mustn’t allow the storms of this life to blow us off course–keeping a constant focus on Christ, if we wish to remain above water.
However, when we fail to keep our eyes facing Christ, he is quick to rescue us. Immediately Jesus reached out his hand caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. Matthew 14:31-32.
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5.
Never will He leave us or forsake us!
