Eyes Trained On Jesus!

Our eyes should always be on our Lord and Savior–not looking to the right or to the left–but when life throws us a curve ball we often become distracted and our eyes begin to wander. DSCN2625aaaWhen our eyes are bouncing all about, rather than beginning trained on Jesus we begin to sink, therefore we mustn’t allow the storms of this life to blow us off course–keeping a constant focus on Christ, if we wish to remain above water.

However, when we fail to keep our eyes facing Christ, he is quick to rescue us.  Immediately Jesus reached out his hand caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. Matthew 14:31-32.

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5.

Never will He leave us or forsake us!

Blessings, Kasey

Ooh, just this…being trained on Jesus. What a great reminder! My eyes have been bouncing about lately!

    • Angie, Life has a way of helping us to lose focus and our eyes fall from Jesus. But I love that when we keep our eyes focused on Him, He will keep us from sinking. Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts. You have blessed my day. Grace and peace, Kasey

    • Sharita, The first time I realized that if we only keep our eyes fixed on Jesus we will not sink, I was utterly thrilled. Wow! Don’t look to the left or to the right but straight at Jesus. Sweet friend, you are such a blessing! God willing I’ll be hooking up again this week. Keep you eyes on Jesus, Kasey
