My Review:  Author’s Mindy Starns Clark and Leslie Gould have combined their effects and created a wonderful read.  This book is a mix of present day events and incidents that transpired during the Civil War.  Two woman, in two different settings, find ways to battle through the difficulty they incur in each time period.

There is a mystery that slowly unravels throughout the book that is finally revealed in the last chapter.  The mystery really kept me turning pages…wanting to discover how the two stories tied together.

Well written and a fun read.  Great book to read this summer by the pool.

I would give this book 5 stars.

Blessings, Kasey
