For many women, remaining optimistic about life and positive about themselves is a constant battle. For others, negativity is something that sneaks up from time to time. Either way, once those dark thoughts come into the mind, it’s hard to see the light anymore. Even though women know that negative thoughts don’t come from God, it’s often difficult to escape them.
Proverbs 31 Ministries speaker and author, Tracie Miles, offers hope for women who struggle with negativity through Unsinkable Faith. Each chapter explores personal stories from Tracie and others, showing how they were able to rise above their circumstances by transforming and renewing their minds.

Book Review: In this life we are going to have trials, struggles, and pain–all are unescapable. However, it is how we view our trials that have the greatest impact on how we feel. Tracie walked through some trying times which sent her spiraling into depression. She came to a place in her life when she realized that her thought life was making it impossible, for her, to find joy.
Tracie explains how our thoughts play a major role in how we feel. We have to learn to take our negative thoughts captive and replace them with positive thoughts if we want to overcome unpleasant feelings.
This book helps the reader learn to take their negative thoughts captive. It includes many Scriptures that the reader can memorize which will combat negative thinking.
If you have ever, or are currently, experiencing negative thinking this is a wonderful book to read.
Tracie has written a beautifully crafted book that is easy to read and understand.
I would give this book five stars.
