Lost

Lost in a sea of faces–people shoulder to shoulder bumping into one another. The sound of conversation, music, rushing of feet–no sign of quiet for anyone. Electricity, excitement in the air–a frenzy of fun for some and a need for an exit or escape route for others (introverts).

IMG_6268Introverts become lost in the hustle, bustle of too much activity, too much fun, and yes, even…too many people. It’s not that they (we) don’t enjoy fellowship or communion with others, it’s just that introverts recharge eternally–they need some time to be alone with only themselves–to refuel.

A good book, a hot bath, and a little quiet equals rest, rejuvenation to an introvert–they are no longer lost. Refreshed and recharged introverts are once again ready to re-enter the world.

Blessings, Kasey

  1. This scripture from Matthew is one of my favorites. I am an introvert at heart. I must be to be able to stay at home with the kids for 15+ years. I understand needing that alone time to recharge. Have a wonderful Friday!

    • Jaime, Thanks for stopping by and sharing an encouragement. I too have had the privilege of staying home with my four blessings for almost 18+ years. Yes, introverts do need time alone to recharge. Have a blessed week. Grace and peace to you, Kasey
