Good Gifts

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.  James 1:17

Gifts from our children are glimpses of God’s gifts. He gives even more generously than they. He creates a new sunrise each dawn and a new sunset each dusk.  He designed each petal on the heads of those colorful blossoms that our children pick and deliver with a smile.  His hands formed each rock that our little ones dig up and add to our rock garden.  Stones were just the beginning, He went on to create mountains, valleys, and oceans…oceans that crash against sandy shores and rocky cliffs.  Birds that circle in the air and insects that sing us to sleep on warm nights.  Our children that He knit together in our womb and placed within our arms–gifts. Precious gifts that shower us with love and affection (hugs and kisses), who clamor for our attention.  His greatest gift His son–our Savior. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son , that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.  John 3:16

Count blessings, Kasey
