If God Is For Us, Who Can Be Against Us

DSCN3374a

Do you remember what you were doing twelve years ago today?  If you live in the United States I’m sure you do.  It was a day, that those of us who were old enough to remember, will never forget. It was a day when terrorists attacked our country with intent to harm Americans.  Many fine Americans lost their lives, they were someone’s father, mother, daughter, son, grandparent, aunt or uncle.  They will forever be missed by those who loved them and we will never forget how they lost their lives on that horrific day.

It was day meant to strike terror, inflict heartache and pain, cause confusion and division, bring us to our knees, but what happened was not what those who wished us harm intended.  Brave Americans willingly risked their lives to save others, banded together to encourage, support, and help those who lost a loved one, and showed their American pride through song, flags, and spirit. Churches were filled to standing room only. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us.  Romans 8:31.

This post is in honor of all those who lost their lives on that fatal day.  May they never be forgotten.

Count blessings, Kasey
