Did You Know?

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future hope.  Jeremiah 29:11

Did you know that you have a story to live?  A story written by the Creator of the heavens and the earth. The One who breathed the world into existence.  The One who knit you together in your mother’s womb.  It’s true.  God has a purpose for each and everyone of us.  A purpose that only we can fulfill.  Do you know what that purpose is?  Are you living it or are you just going through the motions?  Living life day to day, hoping to make it till the next; if that describes you  I want to challenge you to ask God what that purpose is.

God has created each of us with unique gifts.  Gifts that He wants us to use.  I just finished reading Freefall to Fly A Breathtaking Journey Toward a Life of Meaning by Rebekah Lyons;  Rebekah does a wonderful job of showing us how, sometimes, life has a way of helping us lose sight of our unique gifts, gifts that the Lord has blessed us with.  And how when our gifts become lost or buried under life we may begin to lose sight of our purpose.

It was an excellent read, Rebekah’s story sheds insight into how our gifts can help us fulfill our purpose.  The very purpose that the Lord has for each of us to fulfill.

  2. When we know how we fit into the body of Jesus and how He works through us all individually, life has then so much meaning and is so spiritually rich!
    Love and blessings.
